Find the ratio of their circumference and areas. ??

we know that two circle with diameter or radius as x:y , than their circumference will also be in same ratio .. we can easily prove this, as both circumference have 2π as common and that will cancel each other when finding ratio. we only left with radius or diameter ....

so, ratio of circumference of circles will be = 1:3 (Ans)

similarly ,

two circle with diameter or radius as x:y , than their area will be in ratio : ---- (x)² : (y)²

so, ratio of areas of circles will be = (1)² : (3)² = 1:9(Ans)
