For sphere D=6 cm so r=3 cm
For wire i. e cylindrical l=h=36cm
As the sphere was melted then
4/3*22/7*3³=22/7*r²*36
This implies cancelling 22/7 from both sides we will get
4/3*27=r² *36
Then r²=36*3/4*27=1
So r =1cm
