Heya !!

Let two numbers be X and Y.

According to the question,

X - Y = 14 ----------(1)

And,

( X )² - ( Y )² = 448 ------(2)

From equation (1) we get,

X - Y = 14

X = ( 14 + Y ) --------(3)

Putting the value of X in equation (2)

( X )² - ( Y )² = 448

( 14 + Y)² - ( Y )² = 448

(14)²+ (Y)² + 2 × 14 × Y - Y² = 448

28Y + 196 = 448

28Y = ( 448 - 196)

28Y = 252

Y = 252/28

Y = 9

Putting the value of Y in equation (3)

X = ( 14 + Y ) = (14+9) = 23

First number = X = 23

and,

Second number = Y = 9.

Hope it will help you :-)
