The difference between 2 complementary angles is 12 degree. What are the measures of the angles?

let one angle be x
therefore other angle will be x-12
acc to ques
x+(x-12)=90
x+x-12=90
2x=90+12
x=102/2
x=56

first angle =x=56
second angle = 12-x=56-12=44

Let one angle be x°.
Other angle will be y°.
Then,
x°+y°= 90° [Complementary angles=90°]------1

And It is given that,
x°-y°=12° -------2
equation 1 + equation 2,
x°+y°+x°-y°=90°+12°
2x°= 102°
x°=51°
Now, x°-y°=12°
51°-12°=y°
39°=y°
y°=39°.
