Let be numbers be x and x-8

If 2 is added to 1st no.then no. Becomes 3times the 2nd no.

2+x = (x-8)3

2+x= 3x - 24

2+24 = 3x - x

2x = 26

x = 13

The 1st no. Is 13..

2nd no. Is 13-8 = 5..
