The difference between 2 two digit numbers formed by the transposition of their digits is equal to one fifth of one of the numbers.Can you find the two numbers?

Lets xy is a two digit number.

From the question, we have to check for xy−yx

xy−yx=(10x+y)−(10y+x)=9x−9y=9(x+y)

Which is always divisible by 9.

Hence the difference of a two digit number and the number obtained by reversing the digit is always divisible by 9.
