ANSWER

Let two numbers be x & y

x−y=26 ____ (1)

x=3y ____ (2)

substituting (2) in (1) we get

3y−y−26

2y=26

y=13

x=3y from (2)

x=3×13

x=39

we need to find sum of two numbers

x+y=39+13

=52

Answer:

20 = y - y + 20

20 = 20

Step-by-step explanation:

y - x = 20

( y - 20 = x )

y - ( y - 20 ) = 20

y - y + 20 = 20
