Let the tens place digit be a
And Unit place digit be b
According to question,
(10a + b) - (10b + a) = 63
=> 10a + b - 10b - a = 63
=> 9a - 9b = 63
=> a - b = 7
Difference between digits = 7
And Unit place digit be b
According to question,
(10a + b) - (10b + a) = 63
=> 10a + b - 10b - a = 63
=> 9a - 9b = 63
=> a - b = 7
Difference between digits = 7

let the initial nuber be xy
digit at tens place = 10x
digit at ones place = y
so the number is 10x +y
-----------------------------
now when it is reversed it becomes
=>10y +x
=>given that The difference between a two digit no and the no obtained on interchanging the digits is 63
=>so let us form an euqtaion
=> 10x +y = 10y +x +63
=>10x +y - 10y -x =63
=>9x - 9y = 63
now let us divide 9 in all the cases
=>x - y =7
∴difference between the digits is 7
