EXPLANATION.

  • GIVEN

Difference between two digit number and

the number obtained by interchange the

digit = 27

The difference between the two digit

of number is?.

According to the question,

Let the tens place be = x

Let the unit place be = y

original number = 10x + y

reversing number = 10y + x

Case = 1

Difference between two digit number and

the number obtained by interchange the

digit = 27

=> 10x + y - ( 10y + x) = 27

=> 10x + y - 10y - x = 27

=> 9x - 9y = 27

=> x - y = 3

Therefore,

Difference between two digit

number = 3
