Answer:

Present age of elder person is 50.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x and y be the ages of younger and elder respectively

y-x= 15; x = y-15

before 20 yrs,

y-20= 2(x-20)= 2x-40

y= 2x-40+20= 2x-20

y= 2(y-15)-20

y= 2y-30-20

y = 2y-50

y=50,x=35
