the difference between diptera and aquatic insect

Insects belong to diptera family are houseflies, sandflies, etc are aerial insects while aquatic insects are used to live un water.

》 Diptera considered aquatic have aquatic larvae nd pupae with terrestrail adults. Many other aquatic insects are also commonly referred to as flies but these taxa are not ture flies as they do not belong to the order .
