A slash can be symbolised as "/" , but "or" cannot be symbolised. Both have the same sense.

A slash is used to indicate a choice between the words it separates. There are two types of slashes Back slash and Forward slash.
While or provides exclusivness between choices by saying A or B it means only one between A and B can be considered
