Given :- The difference between interest on 3 years at 7% and 5% pa of a sum of money is rs 30 find the sum .

Answer :-

Let the sum is Rs.x .

so,

→ Interest for 7% at 3 years - interest for 5% at 3 years = Rs.30

→ (x * 7 * 3)/100 - (x * 5 * 3)/100 = 30

→ (21x - 15x)/100 = 30

→ 6x = 30 * 100

→ x = 5 * 100

→ x = Rs.500 (Ans.)
