The difference between length and breadth of a rectangle is 1cm .if 3 cm is added to its breadth and 7cm is added to its length ,its perimeter becomes three times more than its previous perimeter.Find the length and breadth of the rectangle. (Linear equation in one variable)

let breadth is y

given : x-y=1cm-------(1)

now, if 3 cm is added to its breadth and 7cm is added to its length

it becomes 7x & 3y

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
