Let the length and breadth are l,b

So,

l-b= 40 ---------  (i)

Perimeter= 2(l+b)

2(l+b)=320

l+b=320/2

l+b= 160 -------(ii)

From (i) we get,

l-b=40

l=40+b

We will substitute the equation of 'l' in (ii)

l+b=160

40+b+b=160

40+2b=160

2b=120

b=60

Now substitute 'b' on first equation

l-b=40

l-60=40

l=40+60

l=100

\huge\boxed{\mathfrak{\red{l=100m,b=60m}}}
