Multiple:
It is the product of any quantity and an integer. This terminology is also used with units of measurement (for example by the BIPM and NIST), where a submultiple of a Mani unit, manned by prefixing the main unit, defined as the quotient of the main unit by an integer, mostly power of 10^3.
Sub multiple:
An quantity that gives another quantity when multiplied by an integer. A centimetre is a sub multiple of a metre, being contained in it hundred times.
