the difference between outside and inside surface of a cylindrical metal pipe is 14 cm long is 44 square CM if the pipe is made of 99 cubic centimetre find outer and inner radius of the pipe

As 2pieh ( R-r)= 44

and h = 14

88(R-r)=44

R-r = 1/2

Also

pie h ( R^2 - r^2)= 99

44 ( R^2 -r^2)= 99

R^2 - r^2 = 9/4

(R-r)(R+r)= 9/4

R+r = 9/2

and R- r = 1/2

2R = 5

R = 5/2

r = 5/2 -1/2 = 2
