Let the age of Ram be x and age of Gaurav be y

Solution:-

As per the question,

Difference between the ages of Ram and Gaurav is 10

Hence,

\sf{x-y = 10}

\sf{\implies x = 10+y\longrightarrow[i]}

Now,

After 5 years,

Age of Ram = x + 5

Age of Gaurav = y + 5

ATQ,

\sf{x+5 = 2(y + 5)}

= \sf{x + 5 = 2y + 10}

= \sf{x-2y = 10-5}

= \sf{x - 2y = 5\longrightarrow[ii]}

Substituting the value of x from eq.[i] into eq.[ii]
