the difference between ramesh's age and rachit 's age is 10 years.5 years ago , rachit's age was twice that of ramesh's age . find their present age​

Let Ramesh and Rachit's age be x and y..

ATQ:

x-y =10

x=10+y.......(1)

and x-5 = 2(y-5)

10 +y -5 = 2y -10.......(from 1)

5+y = 2y-10

15 = 3y

so., y = 5 yrs

x = 10+5

= 15 yrs
