Given :

  • the difference between SI and cI on a certain sum for 2years at 5% per annum is rs26

To find :

  • the sum

Solution :

p = (100/r)² × D

where r is rate and D is difference between SI and CI

= (100/5)² × 26

= 400 × 26

= 10400 Rs

Sum is 10400 Rs

Extra formula's :

  • t_n = a + ( n - 1 ) d

  • S_n = n/2 [ 2a + ( n - 1 ) d ]

  • S_n = n/2 ( a + 1 )
