The difference between the ages of a man and his daughter is 26 years and the sum of their ages is 74 years. Find the daughter's age.

Answer:

Suppose, Daughter's age be x

Father's age = x+26

Therefore, x+x+26=74

2x = 74-26

x = 48/2

Fathers age= x = 24
