According to the question

y-2x = -15

From eq 1

y=10+x

Substituting the value of y

10+x -2x = -15

10-x= -15

-x= -15-10

-x= -25

x= 25

Present Age of the younger brother is 25

From eq 1 present age of the elder brother is 35

15 yrs hence

the age of elder brother is 50

and the younger brother is 40
