Answer:

ie, the circumference of the circle is 44cm

Step-by-step explanation:

let p and r be the circumference and radius of the circle resply.,

=> given that p-r = 37cm      -------------- (1)

          =>    2\pir -r = 37

          =>     r( 2\pi   -1) = 37

          =>     r  ( 2(22/7)   - 1) = 37

          =>     r  ( (44/7)   - 1) = 37

          =>     r  ( (44-7)/7) = 37

          =>     r  ( 37/7) = 37

          =>     r   = 37 * (7/37)

          =>     r   = 7 cm

therfore (1) => p-7 = 37

                  => p = 37+7

                  => p = 44cm

ie, the circumference of the circle is 44cm
