SOLUTION :

Let the length be 'x' m

Let the breadth be 'x - 23' m

Perimeter of Rectangle =

206 = 2( l + b )

206 = 2(x + x - 23)

206 = 2(2x - 23)

206/2 = (2x - 23)

103 = 2x - 23

103 + 23 = 2x

126 = 2x

126/2 = x

63 m = x = length

x - 23 = breadth

63 - 23 = breadth

40 m = breadth

Area of rectangle = l * b

= 63 * 40

= 2520 sq .m
