Answer:

Given : L- B= 6 cm (1)

perimeter [ 2(L+B)]= 28 cm (2)

from given 1 and 2 we get:

L - B = 6

L + B = 12

2L = 18

we get L= 9

sub. this in (1) we get

9 - B = 6cm

B = 9 - 6

we get B = 3cm and L = 9cm

Area of rectangle = L * B

= 9 *3

= 27cm^2
