Answer:

lengths of Parallelsides =x+8, x

perpendicular dist=24 ,Area=312

312 = 24 (x+8+x)/2

624=24(2x+8)

2x +8=624/24=26

2x = 18

x=9

x+8=17

17&9 are parallel sides

Answer:

Let The parallel side be a and b

a-b=8cm,height =24cm,area =312cm²

312=2/2X(a+b) X24

312=12(a+b)

a+b=26

a+b=26---eq i

a-b=8-----eq ii

----------------------;

2a=34

,a=17

now, putting the value of a into eq. I

17+b=26

b=9,
