Complementary angle = sum of nangle is 90°
Since they are complentary pair,their sum will be 90 °
Therefore, let one angle be x and another be 90 ° - x .
ATQ
(90° - x)- x = 40°
90° -2x = 40°
-2x = 40 - 90
-2x = -50
2x = 50
x = 50/2
x = 25°
Therefore, both angles are :-
=> 90 ° - x = 90° - 25 ° = 65°
=> x = 25 °
Hope it helps you !!!!
