For diagram see the attached photo.
Given :-
- The difference between the measure of two angles of a linear pair is 80°
To Find :-
- Find the measure of each angle
Answer :-
- The measure of another angle = 100°
Explanation :-
- A linear pair of angles is formed when two lines intersect.
- Two angles are said to be linear if they are adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines.
- The measure of a straight angle is 180 degrees.
- so, a linear pair of angles must add up to 180 degrees.
- Hence, A0B = 180°
- AOB = AOC + COB
- 180° = AOC + 80°
- 180° - 80° = AOC
- 100° = AOC
- AOC = 100°
I hope it helps you ❤️✔️
