For diagram see the attached photo.

Given :-

  • The difference between the measure of two angles of a linear pair is 80°

To Find :-

  • Find the measure of each angle

Answer :-

  • The measure of another angle = 100°

Explanation :-

  • A linear pair of angles is formed when two lines intersect.
  • Two angles are said to be linear if they are adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines.
  • The measure of a straight angle is 180 degrees.
  • so, a linear pair of angles must add up to 180 degrees.
  • Hence, A0B = 180°

  • AOB = AOC + COB
  • 180° = AOC + 80°
  • 180° - 80° = AOC
  • 100° = AOC
  • AOC = 100°

I hope it helps you ❤️✔️
