--> Guess, a minimal Algebraic Manipulation wud do ur Prob. easy :->
--> Avoiding the Calculation :-> [ a² - b² ] = ( a + b )( a - b )
--> So, if uh come across such a qn. --> a + a + 1 = 31 and thus, the no.s are --> 15 ; 16
However, to come at it Mathematically :->
---> [ n + 1 ]² - n² = 31
=> [ n + 1 + n ] [ n + 1 - n ] = 31
=> 2n + 1 = 31
=> n = 15 and ( n + 1 ) = 16 We're done....
