Let the tens place digit be a

And Unit place digit be b

According to first condition,

a - b = 6 ---------(1)

According to second condition,

10b + a + 10a + b = 88

=> 11a + 11b = 88

=> a + b = 8 ------(2)

On adding equation 1 and 2, we get

2a = 14

=> a = 7

Now,

On Substituting the value of a in equation 1, we get

7 - b = 6

=> b = 1

Required number = 71

Answer:

71

Step-by-step explanation:

Tens place = x  ,  units place = y

x - y = 6 (1)

10y+x+10x+y = 88 ---> 11x+11y = 88

x + y = 8 (2)

Adding equation (1) and (2),

x - y = 6

x + y = 8

-------------

2x = 14          -----> x = 7

7 - y = 6 ---> y= 1

Therefore, required number is 71.
