Answer:

24.088 * 10²³

Explanation:

The molecular weight of ethyne, C₂H₂ = 26 g/mol

So, 26 g/mol of C₂H₂contains (2*NA) atoms of hydrogen

The total no. of Hydrogen atoms in 78 g Ethyne = [2*NA/26] * 78 = 6 * NA ….. (i)

The molecular weight of baking soda, NaHCO₃ = 84 g/mol

So, 84 g/mol of NaHCO₃ contains (1*NA) atoms of hydrogen

The total no. of Hydrogen atoms in 168 g NaHCO₃ = [1*NA/84] * 168 = 2 * NA ….. (ii)

The difference between the total no .of hydrogen atoms as,

= [6 * NA] – [2 * NA]

= 4 * NA

= 4 * 6.022 * 10²³ ……. [since NA = 6.022 * 10^23 mol⁻¹]

= 24.088 * 10²³
