We know that,

length = 20cm , breath = 10cm and height = 40cm are the dimensions of the cuboid.

then,

Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

= (20 × 10 × 40)

= 8000 cm3

We also know that,

Total Surface Area of cuboid = 2 (lb + bh + hl)

= 2 (20× 10) + (10 × 40) + (40 × 20)

= 2 (200 + 400 + 800)

= 2800 cm2

Now,

Lateral surface area of cuboid = [2 (l + b) × h]

= 2 (20 + 10) × 40

= 2 (30) x 40

= 2400 cm^2
