Let the angles be x and y.
x+y=90
x-y=10
On adding the equations, 
x=50 and y=40

Therefore,
x + y = 90. (1)


And it is given that
x - y = 10. (2)

Adding 1 and 2 we get
2x = 100
x = 50 and y = 40
