The difference between two complementary angles is 40 degrees. What are the two angles?

Let the angles be x.

A/Q, x + (x - 40) = 90

      2x - 40 =90

      2x = 130

      x = 130/2 = 65

Hence, x = 65 ; x -40 = 25

65 + 25 = 90
