Let the number be xy
(10y+x) - (10x+y) = 27
9y - 9x = 27
y-x= 3
also the digits are in the ratio 1:2
x/y = 1/2
y = 2x
Putting this value in the previous equation x-y = 3 we get
2x - x = 3
x=3
as y = 2x = 6
hence the number is 36
(10y+x) - (10x+y) = 27
9y - 9x = 27
y-x= 3
also the digits are in the ratio 1:2
x/y = 1/2
y = 2x
