Let the two digit no be 10x + Y

According to question

interchanging the digit of the number means y is replaced by x and x is replaced by y so the no we got, 10y + x

2- Digit Number - Interchange 2 Digit number = 54

(10x + y) - (10y + x) =54

10x + y -10y -x =54

(10x-x)+( y-10y) =54

9x - 9y =54

x - y = 6

hence the difference between the digit is 6
