Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the numbers be x,y

so x-4=y.....1

And 3y=2x+4

=2x+4/3=y..........2

from 1 and 2

y=x-4=2x+4/3

=>3x-12=2x+4

=>3x-2x=4+12

=>x=16

And y =16-4=12

12×3=36

16×2=32

so 3×12 is 4 greater than 2×16

so 12 and 16 are the numbers

\bold{Let \ the \ greater \ number \ be \ x}

\bold{and \ smaller \ number \ be \ y.}

\bold{According \ to \ first \ condition}

\bold{x-y=10...(1)}

\bold{According \ to \ second \ condition}

\bold{2x=3y}

\bold{\therefore{2x-3y=0...(2)}}

\bold{Multiply \ eq(1) \ by \ 2, \ we \ get}
