Solution :-

Let the numbers are x and y .

so,

→ x - y = 3452 --- Eqn.(1)

now, according to question , both the original numbers are halved and then subtracted ,

→ (x/2) - (y/2) = ?

→ (x - y)/2 = ?

putting value of Eqn.(1),

→ 3452/2 = ?

→ ? = 1726

Hence, new difference will also half of original difference .
