Hi ......☺
Let the bigger no. be x and smaller y
Then , According to question
x-y =8. .....1equation
x = 8+y
(x +2 ) = 3y
Substituting the value of x
(8+y+2) = 3y
10 = 2y
y = 5
From 1st equation
x = 8+5 = 13
✔Therefore the bigger no.is 13 and smaller is 5
✌✌ Hope this helps ..

take;bigger no as X,
and smaller no as Y
Now,
x-y=8 _A equ
where,
(x+2)=3y _1 equ
sub 1 equ in the A equ
3y-y=8
2y=8
y=8/2 => 4
now again sub in 1 equ
x+2=3*4
x =12-2 => 10
∴ x = 10, y=4
and smaller no as Y
Now,
x-y=8 _A equ
where,
(x+2)=3y _1 equ
sub 1 equ in the A equ
3y-y=8
2y=8
y=8/2 => 4
now again sub in 1 equ
x+2=3*4
x =12-2 => 10
∴ x = 10, y=4
