Solution

Given :-

  • The difference between two numbers which are perfect cube is 189.
  • The cube root of smaller of two number is 3.

To Find :-

  • The cube root of larger number .

Step-by-Step-Explaination :-

Let the larger number be x

According to the question,

( Larger number )³ - ( smaller number )³ = 189

( x )³ - ( 3 )³ = 189

x³ - ( 3 × 3 × 3 ) = 189

x³ - 27 = 189

x³ = 189 + 27

x³ = 216

x = 3√ 216

x = 3√ 6 × 6 × 6

x = 6

Hence,

Cube root of larger number = 6

given that,

  • The difference between two numbers which are perfect cube is 189. If the cube root of smaller of two number is 3.

☯️we need to find the cube root of largest number.

according to the question,

(b)³ - (a)³ = 189

  • a = 3

Let us assume the larger number as b

(b)³ - (3)³ = 189

b³ - 27 = 189

b³ = 189 + 27

b³ = 216

 \sf b = 3 \sqrt{216}

 \large{ \underline { \sf {\red{ b = 6}}}}

hence , the larger number = 6
