the difference between two parallel sides of a trapezium is 8 m. The perpendicular distance between them is 24 m. Find the length of the two parallel sides, if the area of trapezium is 312 m^2.

guys please tell me right answer and the right answer is 84 cm ^ 2. If someone scams o will report him. Please solve this, it is urgent. ​

Let x and y are the two parallel sides of trapezium

Then a−b=8m→1

Now,

×(a+b)×24=312㎡

⇒a+b=

24

312×2

=26⇒a+b=26→2

Solving 1 and 2, we get

2a=34⇒a=17m

And 17−b=8⇒b=9m
