Fundamental frequency of closed organ pipe = 150 Hz

Fundamental frequency of closed organ pipe = 300 Hz

The general formula for the frequency of a closed organ pipe = nv/4l , n= 1,3,5,7,_ _ _ so on

The general formula for the frequency of open organ pipe = nv/2l , n = 1,2,3,4_ _ _

Second overtone of closed organ pipe = 5v/4l

First overtone of an open organ pipe = v/l

Given, 5v/4l - v/l = 150

=> v/4l = 150 Hz

Fundamental frequency of closed organ pipe = v/4l = 150 Hz

Fundamental frequency of open organ pipe = v/2l = 2×150 = 300 Hz
