CP = a

(a x 106/100) - (a x 104/100) = 3     ......(given)

1.06a - 1.04a = 3

0.02a = 3

a = 300/2 = 150

CP of one commodity = Rs.150

SP of first commodity = 150 x 104/100 = Rs.156

SP of second commodity = 150 x 106/100 = Rs.159
