Let the cp be 100
So sp at 4%gain=104
Sp at 6% gain=106
Difference =3
So 106-104=3rs
2=3rs
So 1=3/2
And 100=3/2*100=150
Cp=150
Sp at 4%=150+4/100*150=6
Sp at 4%=156
Sp at 6%=150+6/100*150=9
Sp at 6%=159

Answer:

let the cp be -100

sp of commodity at a gain at 4%

 100 + 4 = 104

sp of commodity at a gain at -6%

 = 106

difference = 106 - 104 = 2

if the difference is 1---- 100/2

if the difference is ₹3----100/2×3=150

CP of commodity at a gain of 4%=4/100×150=6

150+6=156

CP of commodity at a gain of 6%=6/100×100=9

  • 150+9=159.
