Let the two angles be x and y
Then,
x+y=90°[since x and y are complementary which which means their sum is 90°] ______ (1)
Now,x=y+12[since x and y differ by 12] _____ (2)
Putting (2) in (1)
y+12+y=90°
2y+12=90°
2y=78
y=39
Hence the value of y=39°
Now put y=39° in (1)
x+39°=90°
x=51°
