The difference in the measures of two complementary angle is 12°. Find the measures of the

angles.​

Two angels are said to be complementary when their sum is 90°

Let one angle be x

then other will be (x -12°)

According to question.

x + (x - 12°) = 90° ( complementary angles)

=> 2x - 12°= 90°

=> 2x = 90° + 12°

=> 2x = 102°

=> x = 102°/2

=> x = 51°

and (x - 12°) = 51° - 12° = 39°

So, the angles are 39° and 5
