The difference in the measures of two complementary angles is 120 .

To Find ,  the measures of the angles ​.

First, let angles are x and y

    we know that if the two angles are complementary , then , the sum of the angles are 90° .

=> x + y = 90°    -------------------- (i)

ATQ,

=> x - y = 120°               [ let x > y ]  ------------------------(ii)

By adding the equation (i) and (ii),

 we get,

x + y + x - y = 90 + 120

=> 2x = 210

=> x = 105°

now y = 90° - 105° =  -15°
