The difference in the measures of two complementary angles is 12°. Find the measures of the angles​.

Answer-

Let the first angle be x

Then the second angle will be x + 12°

Now,

x + (x + 12°) = 90°

⇒ 2x + 12° = 90°

⇒ 2x = 90° - 12°

⇒ 2x = 78°

⇒ x = 78/2°

⇒ x = 39°

The first angle is x = 39°

The second angle is x + 12° = 39° + 12° = 51°
