Let the supplementary angles be x and y

Let x be bigger than y

∴ x + y = 180 (Supplementary angles)____eq i.

∴ x = 180 - y

and

x - y = 12____eq ii.

Putting x's value in eq ii. we have,

180 - y - y = 12

∴ -2y = 12-180

∴ 2y = 168

∴ y = 168/2

∴ y =  84

x = 180 - y

∴ x = 180 - 84

∴ x = 96

Ans: x = 96

        y = 84

3 angles of triangle are A, B , C

Let those 2 angles be A and B

A+B=90. (Supplementary angles)
A=90-B. -(1)

A-B=12. (Given) -(2)

Putting value of (1) in (2)

(90-B)-B=12
90-B-B=12
90-2B=12
2B=90-12
2B=72
(Angle)B=36

A=90-B (from eq1)
A=90-39
(Angle) A=51
