The difference of the ages two brothers is 6 years. Ifafa two years the
product of their ages will be 230, find the present age​

Let present ages of two brothers are x & x+6.

After 2 years, their ages becomes x+2 & x+8.

A/Q (x+2)×(x+8) = 230

 {x}^{2}  + 10x + 16 = 230

 {x}^{2}  + 10x - 214 = 0

x =  \frac{ - 10 +  \sqrt{ {10}^{2} + 4 \times 214 } }{2}  =  \frac{ - 10 +  \sqrt{956} }{2}
